For fun in the sun, it is hard to beat a game of beach volleyball, played at one of the courts at Frank Starr Park. The park on the west side of Storm Lake boasts of intertwining parts of the lake trail, which is lighted at night. It also has large open spaces, a handicapped accessible dock, and a playground. An open-air shelter house and restrooms are available to the public.
