Outdoor Waterpark Facilities
Have some fun in the sun or relax in the shade in the outdoor family pool. Six lap lanes and 1- and 3-meter diving boards are perfect for traditional swimming. Families with young children will love the zero-depth entry, kiddie spray island, and family slide. The basketball goal and floatable lily-pad walk will provide hours of enjoyment as you enjoy the Iowa sun. Shaded areas are availablae; take a quick nap or just watch the excitement unfold. Take in the view of beautiful Storm Lake from a lounge chair by the pool!
Those with an adventurous spirit will flock to the outdoor extreme body of water! Surrounded by the Castaway Channel lazy river, the five outdoor slides offer speed, twists, and more than a little adventure!

Get used to hearing this after a few hours of high-energy, waterpark fun. King's Pointe Snack Shack is the cure for almost any hunger pang. Anything you may crave, from candy bars to corn dogs is an option at the Shack. And to quench your thirst, there's plenty of beverage choices, too. The Snack Shack operates during standard waterpark hours. A great way to give the kids a bit of freedom and keep the cash from sinking to the bottom of the pool is one of our floating, prepaid gift cards. The gift cards are re-loadable and can be used anywhere credit is taken at the resort.
You can’t talk about waterpark adventure without mentioning safety. At King’s Pointe Waterpark Resort, the safety of our guests is our top priority. We employ only Red Cross-certified lifeguards and strictly adhere to State guidelines outlining lifeguard to swimmer ratios. Frequent emergency drills and safety reviews with our staff ensure that your time in the water will be both safe and fun.
Our slides and play structures have passed the strict safety guidelines set forth by the slide manufacturers. Each slide and structure has individual safety guidelines, which are clearly posted throughout the waterpark. Our 24-hour maintenance staff continually monitors waterpark mechanics and water quality.
